When you are a mother, you are never really alone in your thoughts. A mother always has to think twice, once for herself and once for her child.

So my last post was written back on 23 May, 2015 for my mother. Post was for a contest #MyFirstExpert held on Mother's Day to share our first experts, our moms.
Now, today exactly after 5 years on 23 May 2019, I am writing this post for my daughter and my mother. Yes, you got it right, time flies, once a daughter is now a mother too 😊
I read somewhere that Mothers and daughters are closest when daughters become mothers. This seems so true. After becoming mother, I can relate to everything that I never cared about when I was only a daughter.
I never understood why my mom didn't eat her food till we kids ate, why she was always the last one to eat in family. Even on her fasting days, she never ate first, she made sure we ate before her, though little early then our usual timings 😜
She was the first one to get up in morning ( still is ) and last one to sleep.
She was always on her toes looking after everything at home and outside.
She is the Best Manager I have seen in my life.
Now that I am a mother myself, I feel I am having a part of her in me.
It’s a special bond that spans the years. Through laughter, worry, smiles and tears. A sense of trust that can’t be broken, a depth of love sometimes unspoken. Mother and daughter, their hearts as one - a link that can never be undone.
Waiting to hear out from other mommies/would be mommies, daughters, sons/fathers off course ( if they have any 🙊🙊) their thoughts ....
No doubt, a mother has the best managing skills and we daughters realize her value only after we become a mother. But I still feel that mothers do too much which can actually be balanced by delegating tasks to their partners. Why only a mother has to do all the sacrifices.
ReplyDeleteRightly said Neha, our better halves should also be treated equal when it comes to making sacrifices n sharing responsibilities 😀
